About The Event
Tashlich is a beautiful, symbolic ritual performed during the High Holy Days, usually on Rosh
Hashanah. It means “to cast off” in Hebrew. In this ceremonial activity, we go to a body of water—
like a river or ocean—and symbolically cast away our sins and negativity by tossing representative
pieces of bread or small stones into the water.
